Slide Gate Damper

Made in Germany by Dictator, the damper provides resistance when the gate descends a hill, freewheeling on the ascent. Installing a damper on inclined slide gates is advisable for both motor assistance and safety. In case of a power outage, manually released heavy gates on slopes can become hazardous as they cannot be stopped by hand once in motion. A damper mitigates this risk. Additionally, while the motor can easily push the gate uphill, it struggles to control the gate's descent, which can lead to operational issues. A damper helps manage these forces, keeping them within the motor's operational parameters.
