Lynx chainlink mesh is manufactured in New Zealand using a Bergandi chain link mesh weaver from the USA. It produces tight knuckles which ensure a deformation resistant mesh.
Our Galv mesh is made from Bezinal 2000 wire from world leading Belgium company Bekaert. This wire is tested and proven to have the best possible corrosion performance and is most suited to New Zealand’s damp coastal climate. Bezinal 2000 uses a 90:10 Zinc and Aluminium Alloy that gives it 4x the protection of regular heavy galv wire. Even as corrosive forces eat up the zinc, the aluminum remains as a protective layer.
Features of Lynx Mesh made from Bezinal 2000 wire
High temperature performance (exposure up to 350C)
Lasts 4x longer than heavy galvanised wire
Active protection of cut ends
Smooth consistent surface finish
Good formability with less dust generation
2.5mm or 3.15mm diameter
450MPa tensile strength
Bekaert Fusion Bonded wire is Bezinal 2000 coated steel wire that is chemically bonded with a high adhesion, coloured PVC coating. This effectively puts a third layer of protection - coloured PVC on top of what is already the worlds leading corrosion performance wire. This results in an aesthetically pleasing and crack resistant coating with good dimensional tolerances. Thanks to these features, Fusion Bonded wire is ideal for use in environments such as areas exposed to extreme temperatures, highly corrosive atmospheres and or abrasive elements.
Features of Lynx Mesh made from Black PVC Fusion Bonded wire
Outstanding and long lasting adhesion in humid environments
Superior corrosion resistance – less creeping rust
High impact resistance
Smooth, attractive coating surface
High dimensional tollarance
3mm coated thickness
450Mpa tensile strength
