Bifold Gate Kit

Bi-folding Gates are an amazing space-saving invention as the gate arc is half that of a normal swing gate. This is especially important in driveways with limited space to the garage or where the car must turn sharply to park inside the property parallel to the road. The Cais bifold kit uses a cam action to move the second leaf at the same time the first one is closing. This allows the gate to be automated.

• The Bifold mechanism is not weight-bearing. Note that the post must have hinges capable of supporting the weight of both leaves
• Hinges are sold separately. We recommend Cais Bearing or Pintle Hinges for the post connection and Locinox Puma or Dino hinges for joining the two leaves.
