Steel Posts With Flange

Flanged fence posts are designed to be bolted to a concrete pad to support the panels of a fence or balustrade. They come in 50mm and 65mm square sections up to 2.2m long. All posts come with caps and can be powder coated to your choice of colour. Lead times apply for custom powder coated posts.

Typically your post will need to be 100mm longer than your panel - 50-70mm under the fence and 30mm above it for the cap. So a 1.2m panel needs a minimum of 1.3m high posts. 50mm posts are ok for residential fences up to 1.2m high but for anything higher or for commercial fencing go for a 65mm post. Balustrade panels will always need a 65mm post (check the PS1 to be sure).
