Networked FarmGate Automation


Cowstile is a smart, solar-ready gate automation system for modern farms. With LoRaWAN connectivity and a durable motor, it offers remote control, scheduling, and easy integration with your existing farm tech.

RetroFit

Fits to the top of your post and operates your existing gate. Needs a free swinging gate and solar power.

Electrified

The gate is replaced by a pole with electric tape on standoffs. Needs solar power and an electric fence or dedicated energiser.

How It works


Cowstile integrates effortlessly with modern farm infrastructure—such as pivots, water sensors, and herd management systems—and becomes more powerful with every additional gate, enhancing overall network efficiency.



Using long-range LoRa technology, Cowstile transmits small data packets between gates and other devices until they reach a central Wi-Fi hub. From there, the system connects to a web app, allowing farmers to monitor gate status, schedule operations, and control gates remotely from any internet-connected device.

Using the LoRaWAN protocol, Cowstile transmits wireless signals over 4+ km, enabling long-range connectivity across your farm. Each new gate added strengthens the network, enhancing productivity through real-time status updates and seamless information sharing.
